The district of Gracia is like a small town. The Villa de Gracia, was annexed to Barcelona at the end of the 19th century but is still characterized by having its own personality. It is characterized for being one of the most bohemian and multicultural neighborhoods of Barcelona, ​​its streets are quite narrow and with few vehicles, and there are many plazas full of terraces and good atmosphere that characterize the neighborhood. In Gracia, local commerce and the theaters, cinemas, cultural centers and neighborhood shops where creativity is wasted abound. There is a warm and close atmosphere that favors a cultural immersion in the autochthonous and authentic life of Barcelona. Our school is located next to the LLIBERTAT market in the beautiful little square of GALA PLACIDIA where vehicles do not circulate where neighbors and our students have many rest areas, to have a coffee, eat and play ping pon.

"BCN offered one of the best language learning experiences I've had."

I appreciated the structure of the course. I took a 4-week B1+ class, which was divided into two parts: grammar and conversation. I appreciated that the teachers were responsive and concerned about our understanding of the material. The class size was small and very conducive to full participation and optimal learning. The conversation portion of the course was not only practical but really fun with classmates from many countries. I would highly recommend BCN for all levels of learning.

The class size at BCN Languages was quite small, my class size ranged from 2-10 which allowed for a very personal and interactive learning experience. The structure of the class was set up as such: 2 hours of grammar, 20 minute break, 2 hours of conversation. I thought that this was perfect because this allowed me to learn the new material and then put it into practice which proved very beneficial for actually learning and being able to use the language. No complaints whatsoever about the facilities or location. The teachers were fantastic. Very kind and very professional, they made learning Spanish very fun with different and engaging activities and conversation topics each day.

Living with a Spanish host family in Barcelona is an excellent opportunity to get to know the typical lifestyle, culture and gastronomy of our country, while practicing the language.

All our host families have been carefully chosen by our accommodation officer according to clearly defined quality standards, and are regularly checked.

Students will have a single furnished room and can choose either half board (breakfast & dinner) or just bed & breakfast.

Other specific requirements, such as special diets, can be requested on the registration form.

Reservations for accommodation with a host family in Barcelona are usually made from the first Saturday before the course starts and to the Saturday after the end of the course (extra nights can be reserved if required).
